I have sold new cars for Toyota, GM, Pontiac, Nissan, Kia and Carmax the Worlds largest used car dealer a fortune 50 company.
Brand new to the car industry I sold 34 cars in my 4th month as a rookie new car salesman and my 12th month sold 30 cars considering the national average is 9 to 12 new cars sold in one month. While working part time at Carmax I would sell 8 to 14 cars per month.
I know what buyers want and I know what car dealers want and if you could see how greedy the car dealers are with buyers it would make you sick to your stomach. I have seen car dealers make $10,000 profit on a used car on the front and back end.
Would you be mad as hell if your mom who worked so hard to buy a car ended up paying $10,000 more for a used car equaling an extra $200 per month in payments? Tell me you would not get sick to your stomach.

Don’t get me wrong the car manufacturers are not to blame they make outstanding cars. It’s the individually owned car dealers that are out to make a killing if you let them.
